School Blues

Shouldn’t a thought be given to what is going on in Pre-schools?
My daughter is 3+, strangely the amount of syllabus she is being made to go through is astonishing, it really makes me shudder what she will go through in school if this is the case in pre-nursery.
Numbers, Alphabets, colors(not just the primary colors but of course (orange, pink, peaches)names& identification of animals,what they eat, shapes(A pre-nursery child is supposed to know shapes of pentagons & hexagons also?)Means of transport,how many wheels does a car/scooter/bus/auto rickshaw/cycle have? identify fruits & vegetables(which of them we peel & eat)which animals live in water/which live in jungle?use of five senses?what does the
doctor/postman/tailor/cobbler/barber/sweeper/driver/policeman do for us?concept of right & left,name of four seasons
how many months are there in a year
name the magazine/newspaper comes to your home
what type of pollutions are there
what is water pollution
how is air pollution
These are just a few of the things which a "Pre-school" - the child will
have to learn so as to get admission to "main school" (in nursery)?
When questioned about why the children are being forced for such an awfulload- the answer of a reputed playschool/preschool principal was-
“this is what is the requirement of our society & demands of our Schools!!”
Is`nt a visit of some unexpected officials visits required to atleast
arrange for some relief for kids?
If polio vaccine can be of this attention to Mr. Amitabh Bachan & our
Government why not admission of our children also?
