Selfless Prayers...

Ten years have past, but this incident is still fresh in my memory. I had got admitted to the hospital for the delivery of my second son. My life was in the doldrums. By God's grace the operation was successful and I was blessed with a healthy baby boy. I was able to recover much sooner than expected. I was staying in that Nursing Home for 7 days. Everyone at the Nursing Home was very kind to me. When I got discharged, I thanked each and everyone there and finally went up to the Head Nurse's cabin. She was a very old lady. I thanked her and she told me that she is very happy to see me in a healthy condition and that she was praying to Lord Jesus throughout my operation. She told me to take good care of my health. This really touched my heart. I just wonder sometimes, what made that lady pray for me. I had met her only once or twice. But, I could not meet her again during my check ups since she had retired from her services. Through this I send my heartfelt gratitude to her. And let us all learn from this incident, to pray selflessly.
