Summer Hair Care

Each season makes it demands on your hair. The sticky, sultry months of summer make your hair stick to your scalp and also emit an odour in spite of the many washes you give it. During summer one actually needs a conditioner that you leave on for about two minutes before washing. Curly hair requires even more conditioning than straight hair. Hair also becomes more limp and oily. This can be controlled by shampooing more frequently and also by using an after rinse.

Protective Shields

Just as your skin needs protection, so does your hair, especially when you are swimming. If there is chlorine in water, you can rinse it off with drinking soda. This will make your limp hair come alive again. An oil massage is good during summer because it beats the stress like nothing else can. After a massage, wrapping the hair in a damp towel for about twenty minutes before shampooing can give your hair that shining look
