About the Class - Monthly Lesson 3 - MOTIVATION IN SELLING Motivation is the major reason for our success or failure in selling. Motivated people motivate others by their very presence and in turn create a positive working condition, which makes hard work enjoyable. Personal motivation begins in believing in yourself. If you don't, nobody else will. You are unique, there is absolutely nobody else in this world like you, and you owe it to yourself to be as successful as you want to be. Your determination and will power and a positive mental attitude are all that are required. Scientific researchers claim that the average man or woman uses no more than 20% of their mental capacity. This being the case, 80% of our brainpower remains dormant and the potential for personal development is enormous. If you can accept this theory then you will also accept that whatever you have achieved at this moment in life, you have done so operating on no more than 20% of your ability. Ask yourself the following 10 questions:- 01. What major achievements have you had in the past year? One of the biggest stumbling blocks to our progress is not the market, not the lack of opportunities or the present state of the world's economy - the stumbling block is ourselves.
